Share Best Practices

Best practices are aspects of care (policies, protocols, treatments, etc.) that are the most widely accepted and likely to result in favorable patient outcomes based on currently available research and expert consensus. MAQII strives to identify and share best practices around anticoagulation management.

Distribution Channels

In addition to reviewing new research and guidelines with participating sites at quarterly meetings, MAQII shares best practices to a world-wide audience through our Anticoagulation Toolkit, which includes a desktop reference, one-page quick references, pocket cards, a mobile app, and patient education materials. Our team regularly reviews new anticoagulation research and guidelines and updates toolkit information accordingly. Our toolkit has been used in protocols developed by numerous hospitals and clinics, and several organizations have used it for continuing education programs, presentations, or recommended it as a clinical resource.
